Responsibilities
Materials Planner is responsible for:
- BOM configuration.
- Own the Bill of Material (BOM) to ensure proper structure is introduced into ERP.
- Implement procurement parameters in the ERP to reflect supply strategy (Make vs. Buy, Standard material lead-time, commodity codes, ordering and planning parameters, and other configuration rules)
- Maintain integrity of Master data in ERP for the correct performance of the MRP for the correct generation of purchase request.
- Collaborate with engineering and sourcing departments, identifying BOM optimization for productivity and continuous improvement in Quality, Delivery, EHS and Cost.
- Direct Material Planning.
- Be main contact for Project Supply Chain Manager regarding direct material planning, providing material regular updates to Project, and providing visibility on operations.
- Drive a time-phased plan to ensure On-Time Start for sourcing and manufacturing for allocated Hydro projects.
- Release planned orders and ensure correct execution of the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) module. Ensure data accuracy in the ERP.
- Ensure necessary information is shared to sourcing team such as the purchasing packages.
- Interact with Project Planning to regularly update key dates.
- Support the development of tools that enable visibility and prioritization on operations.
- Regular Root Cause analysis of Material shortage or delay.
- Engage in LEAN initiatives for continuous process improvement and optimize Material flow with strong collaboration with Engineering, Planning, Project Teams, and Sourcing teams.

- Supply Chain monitoring dashboards – data accuracy
- Early alerts on Aged PR and short cycle PR to mitigate risk of delay and secure On Time Delivery

Measurement
- Supply Chain OTD against Project committed schedule.
- Data Accuracy and Visibility
Required Qualifications
- Graduated in Production, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Foreign languages: Advanced English mandatory
Knowledge / Experience
- Experience in similar positions in the Supply Chain field (valuable experience in planning, supply and logistics) preferably in a Project business environment.
- Important experience with SAP MRP.
- Important knowledge of Excel, including macro.
- Experience with Tableau is a plus
- Experience with planning tools such as Primavera P6 is highly valued.
