Team Overview and Job responsibilities
We are looking for a Logistic Operator to join our team. Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, reporting to Logistic Coordinator, you will be responsible for warehouse of raw material and finish goods, operating fork-lift equipment belonging to one or more phases of the fiber optic manufacturing process, thus ensuring the quality of the product, as well as carrying out the activities determined to fulfill the environmental needs relevant to its area, through compliance of pre-established instructions and procedures, in accordance with established policies, guidelines, strategies and legislation. You will focus on the following activities:
Operate equipment relevant to the logistic processes of PCVD/RIT, APVD, Drawing Tower and/or Measuring, manipulating command devices, observing and monitoring their operation, thus contributing to obtaining optical fiber.
Check the process parameters in the respective forms before the start of operations, observing and following the pre-established guidelines, in order to obtain the desired result.
Fill out the Equipment Process Control Worksheets, as well as launch necessary "inputs" in the integrated information system, in order to provide updated information to those involved and provide subsidies to the immediate Superior for decision-making.
Observe the development of activities inherent to the Logistic Area, anticipating possible problems and identifying abnormalities in the equipment or fiber optic manufacturing process, in order to notify the immediate Superior so that he can verify and take appropriate measures to prevent qualitative or quantitative decrease in production .
Interpret tables and graphs inherent to the operation of equipment during the fiber optic manufacturing process, requesting guidance from the immediate Superior whenever necessary for the correct execution of activities.
Fill in the shift passage with information relevant to the quantity and other relevant data about the optical fiber manufactured in the period, in order to report the production performance to the immediate Superior and the professionals involved.
Pay attention to the Occupational Health and Safety instructions received, following the guidelines and using the PPE's (Personal Protective Equipment) indicated, thus ensuring the safety of oneself and that of co-workers.
Contribute to the organization and cleaning of the Production Area's facilities, keeping the tools and instruments used in an orderly manner, as well as helping to remove debris.
Know and comply with the procedures and instructions for the disposal of industrial waste pertinent to your area, as well as generate and fill in the information of all the documentation necessary for the good progress of the Environmental System.
Participate in internal and external training, as needed, whenever guided by the immediate Superior, seeking professional and personal development through technical improvement and updating.
Collaborate in the maintenance process of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems adopted by the Company, taking cognizance of the pre-established instructions and procedures for the Area of Logistic, as well as ensuring compliance with them.
Attend and carry out other professional activities related and inherent to the Position, as directed and requested by the immediate Superior.
Know and understand the Prysmian policy and procedures for HSE;
Comply with legal and company requirements regarding HSE, the requirements of the SGS/SGS, in accordance with its competence and with the awareness and training received;
Preserve the environment and report accidents related to HSE and unsafe situations to the person directly responsible and/or HSE.
