Cultural Vistas' small HR team is focused on providing people-centric support to the organization and its most valuable resource: the staff who make the mission possible. Reporting to the Director of Administration, People & Culture, the HR Generalist will serve as a resource to staff and management by proactively providing a broad range of HR services, ensuring efficient and seamless administration and coordination of HR-related projects, programs, and activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Your job will be to provide support to the staff and HR function of Cultural Vistas in Administration & Compliance, Talent Acquisition & Management, and Performance & UltiPro HRIS Management so that HR activities are aligned with the business needs and organizational strategies, enabling our people and mission to be more successful.
- At any given time, you will be responsible for ongoing communication with candidates, staff, brokers, payroll consultants, and vendors as well as keeping internal records up to date.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To be successful in this job, you will have clear, empathetic, and inclusive communication skills, with a strength in internal and external customer service.
- You will have an eye for detail and a deep knowledge of the daily tasks and the strategic role of the Human Resource function.
- You exhibit good judgment and balance in handling sensitive or confidential content.
- Occasional travel to the home office in Washington, DC may be required, so candidates located in the DMV region or those willing to relocate are preferred.
