What we’re looking for?
- 8+ years of work experience with at least some experience in operations - startup or tech experience is a big plus.
- Experience working effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a highly dynamic and constantly changing environment.
- Strong project management experience.
- Exceptional business judgement and critical thinking skills.
- A track record of building, leading and developing a high performing team.
- MBA preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership and people management skills - you will set the tone for your team and broader teams in the region; driving towards results while also being empathetic towards their challenges - EQ is a must-have.
- Disciplined organizational skills - you’ll need to prioritize and manage a series of ongoing processes and projects simultaneously.
- Data-driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
What you’ll do:
- Be responsible for building and optimizing best in class operations at Rappi.
- Ensure sufficient supply at all times (quantity and quality of couriers) by having an efficient acquisition strategy, balancing supply and demand in the marketplace, and ensuring positive courier engagement.
- Manage a team of highly motivated city/country operations managers throughout the region.
- Work to provide the best possible experience for our couriers, making Rappi the delivery app of choice to partner with.
- Aggregate internal and external customer feedback through different channels and liaise with the product team to regularly enhance the product based on courier feedback as well as internal UX testing.

- You will play a vital role in all aspects of Rappi’s success and this requires being a highly motivated, versatile, adaptable, and well-rounded leader - someone who can create and drive strategy but also roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.
