Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

To act as a strategic buyer of our HealthSystem business, always being attentive to changes in the market and enabling systemic improvements.

You are responsible for:

Preparation, planning and execution of procurement process negotiations with national and international suppliers (RFQ's / RFI's),
Development of pricing models, ensuring better financial and operating results,
Technical analysis of new products (Business Case) and allocation in the current supplier base, as well as market
analysis and approval of new sources to meet new requirements,
Drives early supplier involvement and identifies cost drivers to influence design decision making and achieve target costing,
Procurement Savings, developing new supply sources, mapping/planning/executing concept improvements
related to technical process/product proposals, that impact the Organization's total cost of ownership (TCO), using DFX tools. All modifications are accompanied by a Cross Functional Team led by the Procurement Sector
Support in “Supplier Quality” alignments with suppliers: Parts and Pieces Quality Monitoring and Supplier Management System monitoring (ISO's and certifications),

You are part of:

The procurement team of Philips, based in Varginha.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

University degree
Previous experience with Procurement activities
Experience within Order Management and Customer Service is a plus
SAP experience or other ERP system is a strong plus
Improvement skills/attitude.
Good communication skills at different levels (to factories and regions/customers).
Strong cultural awareness.
Intermediate English
