GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position is part of the operations team, reporting to the logistics manager in Brazil. This position assisted in the resolution of problems related to the planning of the carrier and transportation, updates of the status of the outbound shipment. Support in separation of the warehouse from invoices, billing and shipping to the customer, monitoring and controlling the contracted freight or outsourced, to ensure documentation, order issuance and control to reduce customer delivery times with greater efficiency and payments for contracted services.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (70%)
- Supports and assists in the implementation of processes associated with planning and incoming routing to ensure compliance with carrier and customer commitments.
- Works with the existing platform to prioritize remittances that meet OTIF's goals.
- Monitor the import and export processes and documentation for product transit and entry to the place destined for stock;
- Check SKU are in accordance with the requested request for source and correction if necessary; sampling the volume received.
- Follow up KPIs for monitoring for separation and loading within the requested standards, seeking continuous improvement for processes;
- Launch and check the freight charged at the conference in the tables according to the service provider
- Consolidate product return of the information and seek approval from the manager of the responsible area and release the note in the system and validate the stock entry.
- Act in accordance with Ansell Brazil's code of integrity and ethical conduct.
SUPPORT FUNCTIONS (20%)
AUDIT & PAYMENT DUTIES
- Help with any questions about the shipping and freight payment audit process:
- Ensure that all freight audit inquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Support all internal audit initiatives and projects related to the freight payment process
- Support in timely audit process to ensure invoice accuracy and compliance with internal audit guidelines.
CARRIER PERFFORMANCE KPI’s
- Identify and work with the team to resolve delivery-related issues through effective communication across all functional departments.
- Track and document all service-related failures by the operator
OTHER DUTIES (10%)
- Act as backup support for the respective team members
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- College Degree – Administration / Logistics (ongoing)
JOB EXPERIENCE
6 months of Logistics experience (co-op/internship/considered)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Launching processes in the system, based on logistics, inventory, freight.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically MS Word, Power Point and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in all roles and interact with all levels of the organization
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good written communication skills and budget
